Basic Venison Marinade

·        ½ cup of red wine

·        ½ cup of vinegar

·        ¼ cup of olive oil or vegetable oil

·        ½ medium onion, chopped

·        ½ tablespoon Oregano

·        ½ teaspoon Nutmeg

·        1 cup water

·        2 tablespoons Lea & Perrin Worcestershire Sauce

The above is good for one large venison steak.  Double the recipe if you are marinating more than 1 steak.  I usually marinate the steak overnight in a covered glass casserole dish.  Grill the steak until medium rare or medium.  Be careful not to overcook the steak.
