Blueberry Compote Recipe Ingredients

1 cup blueberries
3 tablespoons Splenda (original recipe called for sugar (maple syrup or honey)
4 tablespoons water

Directions

1. Prepare your blueberries by washing them and allowing them to drain. Pat dry.

2. Place a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat and add the blueberries. Mix in the sugar and water.

3. Bring to a gentle boil. Stir consistently and boil for 5 minutes. Smash blueberries to desired consistency and continue stirring. The mixture should thicken as it cooks and will thicken even more after it cools.

4. Serve warm or cool and enjoy!
