Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless,
skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated
Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup
breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup
melted butter
- 3 cloves
garlic, minced
- 1 cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup
grated provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup
chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and
pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons
olive oil
Directions:
1. Preheat
Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with
olive oil.
2. Season and
Cook Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil
in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown
on both sides but not cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer the
chicken to the prepared baking dish.
3. Prepare
Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted
butter, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined.
4. Assemble
Dish: Top each chicken breast with the shredded mozzarella and provolone
cheese. Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken
breasts.
5. Bake: Bake
in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through
and the topping is golden brown.
6. Garnish and
Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with
chopped fresh parsley before serving.
